Exceptional staff support made my stay enjoyable, accommodating early departures without hassle. The room was cozy and clean, with a great TV that included subtitles for accessibility. Fresh meats served at breakfast added a delightful touch to the dining experience. A minor inconvenience was the proximity of the bathroom to the bed, but it didn’t detract from the overall comfort.

Ideal for a friendly stay
The atmosphere here is really warm and welcoming, I mean we were greeted with such kindness, it felt like home. Breakfast was truly memorable, especially the sausages, just perfect after a long evening.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you know. it was acceptable.

Had a fantastic getaway with friends! We played at the Drift Golf Club and explored the antique shops in Ripley. The rooms were comfy, and the staff were super friendly. They provided us with plates when we brought food back. The local pub had a great vibe, especially on a bustling evening. Definitely a spot worth visiting.
The only downside was that it got a bit noisy at night, as sound travels easily between the rooms.

The pub has a charming village character, enhancing the cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The extensive selection of beers and ales offers a real taste of local brews, making it a nice spot to relax and socialize.
Room size can feel quite cramped, especially with the bed pressed up against the wall—this layout isn't ideal for couples needing easy access. Noise levels can be a concern as sound easily travels from the bar area, making it tough to catch quality sleep when things get lively downstairs. Lack of complimentary toiletries in the bathroom may leave you feeling a bit unprepared, so bring your own supplies to avoid inconvenience. Lastly, the absence of breakfast options may limit your morning plans, as you’ll need to venture out early for a bite.

The Small Double Room was cozy and clean, making it really nice to relax in. It felt like a snug little retreat after a long day. There was a fan provided, which was great since it got hot. The room was quite compact, but it didn’t feel cramped, and the comfy bed was definitely a highlight. Plus, having a large bathroom made things more convenient. Just a heads up, sound traveled a bit from the pub area, so it could get noisy at night.

The Half Moon Inn offered a cozy atmosphere perfect for a weekend getaway. My room, a Small Double Room, was clean and the bed comfortable, allowing for a decent night's sleep. It was convenient to have free parking and a lovely pub downstairs for a relaxed evening. Local shops and restaurants were just a short walk away, making exploration easy. the room size was quite small, making it challenging to navigate. There were some issues with the door lock too, which needed a bit of patience to operate. A lamp in the room didn’t work properly, which was slightly annoying since I like to read at night.
